Here are the latest things being added, removed, changed, or updated onto the website:

Directory

Added "Small GIFCities Changes," a Stylus theme for GIFCities that just adds small changes to make it cooler and a bit easier to look for transparent gifs

Changelogs

Added a link to install an RSS feed of the changelogs (it'll update as the site gets an update)

A lot of CSS changes, the contents box has a background gradient and the update boxes now have a border

Minor spelling changes

Other

Changed the look of the homepage calendar

Changed the footer to make some grammar changes and do some arrangements

Fixed the server proxy on the last updated and website views counter

Made it so when hovering over a hyperlink makes it italicized

Temporarly removed polls due to Pollcode unexpectedly being closed. (the section will still be there until i find an alternative, wait for Pollcode to reopen, or replace it with a different section)

Made the previous and next month buttons bigger for mobile use (even though it's not really recommended)

Changed the look of the header and regular buttons again to be smooth while keeping the shiny button look

Changed the colors of text selection to make it easier to read

Updated the Changelogs

Made it so that previous and current updates are togglable to read instead of scrolling down past logs. (Took inspiration from Steam's 2003 changelogs box.)

Changed the name from "Updates" to "Changelogs."

Updated the header

Header

Slightly changed the Last Updated icon.

Navigation

Made it so that buttons have a delay before entering a page

Added new sounds for the nav buttons

Removed a nav button feature where if you enter a page, the nav button for that page would be disabled.

Updated some CSS stuff

Changed text-shadows

Changed header button colors and added an alt version for a disabled version of the button

Updated the page header

Made it so that you can't hit the button for the page that you're on to prevent double clicking but to also tell you that you're on that page.

Changed the header buttons area's padding and detail.

Minor changes to the splash text area.

Changed the credits page to be more clean

Removed the icons from headings

Changed and added new links for exsisting credits

Added small text next to author names to know what website it originated from

| Janurary 12, 2026 - (Version 2.6)

It's been awhile since the last update. Sorry that I've been gone for awhile, I'm really busy with school. Here are the latest things being added, removed, changed, or updated onto the website:

Updated the homepage calendar with some new features and decoration

Removed the mascot status (it just took up some unnecessary space and plus I don't really use StatusCafe much anymore :/)

Changed the biography section and some other things in the About Me page.

| July 30, 2025 - (Version 2.5)

It's been a month since last update so here are the newest things added, removed, changed, or updated onto the site!

Changed the website ASCII logo back to Speedy.

Removed sitemap and test pages until further notice

Updated the directory to remove user images, add details for file size, and other changes.

Changed the blog theme several times because my code is ass for tumblr apparently. God it's a fucking nightmare I should've used a different blogging platform god help me.

Small change to the splash text section of the banner.

Changed it so that some of the pages fonts that were set to the default browser font to now Times New Roman as intended.

Changed the music for the directory, about me, and the main home pages to songs from the modarchive that fit with the page and don't cause loud noises. Credits are always listed in the credits page, which can be found in the footer.

| June 22, 2025 - (Version 2.4)

Hey everyone, Basher here. It's been 377 days since the last written update before the redesign and all of that other stuff that has been going on with this site. I'm going to list some things that were updated but weren't added to this recent updates page. Let's see, where did I put my list? Oh, uh.. Wait nevermind, I found it. Here are the newest things added, removed, changed, or updated onto the site!

Added a credits page. In order to find it, read the footer text.

Readded the buttons section on the homepage

Readded the Guestbook. (Thank atabook!)

Changed the music player to a better design

Speaking of music, new music has been put on the site. I thought tracker music from the MOD Archive would make it more cool.

Fixed some of the structure of how I wrote the footer text because I hate how I wrote it.

Changed the about page to be more like how every about me page should look

Changed the gallery

Changed the directory

Changed/removed the news page and replaced it with an updates/changelog because my tumblr exsists and that counts as a news page.

Changed the homepage to readd polls and also add a site calendar. (I thought adding a calender would've made it look good)

Okay, you know what? That was a lot of fucking stuff. I'm not gonna mention more cuz my keyboard mouth is foaming. Anyway, Enjoy what's new in this update and expect another update in.. I don't know, whenever I'm NOT a couch potato?

Hey everyone and Happy Mothers Day from Basher here on the Basher's Doomsite website! It's been so long since last update so today here are some new changes, bug fixes, removals, and new additions of content for the newest and latest website update.

Added new WAD, SPIDERBATTLE.wad

Changed the News iFrame

Hidden some socials to be updated in the future

Changed some grammar in the update logs

Updated The WAD Directory

Changed some button image attributes in order to avoid hotlinking and bandwidth problems

Removed the Under Construction header

Added sound when hovering over the donate button

Added new videos, and game posters to the "Videos about Doom and other Boomer-Shooter games" and "My favorite videogames" sections

Changed the main page sections to remove the dot/period symbol in heading sections

Hey everyone, Basher here! Today's the day, and that day is the release of 2.0 Basher's DOOMSite update. In this 2.0 update, There are new changes, bug fixes, and removal of some things that were in past updates

Changed the navigation.

Updated the logo to have a reflection on the bottom and added some characters over on the right side.

Change website background.

Changed some grammar in the update logs.

New website trailer, coming soon!

Updated the 404 page.

Fixed bullet points to not duplicate each line for each log on the updates page.

Removed the videos page due to it having no use onto the website:

Updated VENGEFUL public demo 1.1 to 1.2. To in order to download the update, Download it by clicking the "Directory" button on your navigation bar. VENGEFUL's Module name should be updated.

VENGEFUL now has a download mirror on ModDB available in the WAD Directory.

Removed music from the website because it was too annoying when going onto other pages without being interrupted.

Donations are now available, click on the top social link (that is a coffee) on the homepage to donate.
